Radio/Telephone Procedure

R/T, or Radio Telephone Procedure was the subject which involved learning the ways of communicating quickly and clearly.  This ranged from the proper way to talk into a telephone to using code words to get their message across.  One of the most common of these words was "Roger" which communicated that the message was received.

This subject was inportant for Fighter Control Operators to learn so that they could pass on the information gained from the radar, both efficiently and quickly.
